Whether you’re a ChiliHead or living the Maggiano’s Way, we believe in preparing you for your ‘NEXT.’

With the right balance of well-being – career, community, social, financial and physical – you can love life and your job.

Career well-being at Brinker means providing growth opportunities right here. At Chili’s and Maggiano’s, nearly 70% of our promotions are among active Team Members.

Our Best You EDU educational program – at absolutely no cost for all Team Members – lets Team Members learn skills that matter in a way that fits into busy lives – from foundational learning such as bi-lingual coaching to GED and Associate’s programs. In its first year, nearly 2,000 Team Members are taking part. Aspiring managers get a leg up with Chili’s Certified Shift Leader program – on-the-job restaurant manager skills training that creates a career path in the restaurants. It’s accredited through the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation. We’re committed to enrolling 600 Team Members in 2019.

We have a simple compensation philosophy: Pay competitive wages to make sure we get and keep the best people. That’s the baseline. Then we add in bonuses, health care, deep partner discounts, generous restaurant perks, and matching 401(K) savings plans. We’re talking the total package.

We’re committed to advancing all aspects of diversity; through hiring good people and keeping them here, training, and supporting the communities in which we operate.

Women Taking the Lead is a program created in 2014 to develop our female leaders, elevating their career and strengthening skills as emerging leaders.

More than 50% of our Certified Shift Leader program participants are women.

We also believe that no one who fights for our country should experience hardship when they come home. We’re a member of Veteran Jobs Mission, supporting U.S. military veterans, transitioning military members and spouses.

Since our beginnings, we’ve believed deeply in giving back to the communities in which we live and work. Today, our framework is focused on three pillars:

At Brinker, we make a difference in kids’ lives every day.

St. Jude: From grass-roots to lasting commitment

Since 2002, Chili’s has raised approximately $68 million to support St. Jude’s mission. The Chili’s Care Center on the St. Jude campus arose from a historic partner commitment – $50 million in 10 years. And in 2016, Chili’s committed to raising $30 million for the St. Jude School program.
Make-A-Wish: Life-changing experiences for critically ill kids

Since 2003, Maggiano’s annual “Eat-A-Dish for Make-A-Wish” campaign has granted wishes to children with critical illnesses. Over the past 15 years, Maggiano's has raised more than $8 million and granted more than 1,100 life-changing wishes.

Hunger can’t be solved overnight, but we can do our part to help those in need. We’re a restaurant company - feeding people and making them feel special is what we do best.

We host Give Back Nights that support local food banks, and backpack programs to help kids who struggle to make it through a hungry summer.

Teams at the Restaurant Support Center volunteer time to support mobile food pantries. Even in times of crisis, we can help - sending in volunteers to provide food and bottled water to weather-ravaged areas or communities reeling from tragedy.

Education builds confidence, breaks down barriers to opportunity, and helps prepare future leaders.

We host Give Back Nights in our restaurants to help support local schools.

Our Best You EDU was designed to meet Team Members wherever they are on their educational journey.

In 2016, Chili’s committed to raising $30 million for the St. Jude School program, which offers a reassuring routine and a connection with the outside world for children undergoing treatment.
